Product Overview
This ripe Pu-erh tea is sourced from the core tea-growing region of Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province, China. Made from sun-dried large-leaf Maocha and crafted through traditional wet-piling fermentation, it is pressed into compact nugget-like shapes resembling “silver nuggets.” These tea nuggets are convenient to brew and release flavor quickly. The dry leaves are glossy dark-brown with a firm structure. Mild and approachable in character, this tea is ideal for daily enjoyment or as a thoughtful gift. Its distinctive form offers both brewing efficiency and aging potential.
Taste & Aroma
The liquor is a deep, translucent reddish-brown. The taste is smooth and mellow, with a rich and rounded mouthfeel. Notes of aged wood, soft earthiness, and sweet glutinous rice aroma rise gently, offering a comforting and lingering fragrance. Despite its nugget form, the flavor profile is layered and stable through multiple infusions. The finish is sweet and soothing, with lasting aftertaste and a warm, gentle body that deepens over time.
Health Benefits
Ripe Pu-erh tea is warming in nature and supports digestion, metabolism, and gut health. It’s especially suited for those with weak digestion or high-fat diets. The fermentation process produces tea polyphenols, theabrownin, and beneficial microbes, which help promote intestinal movement and regulate the digestive system. Regular, moderate consumption may aid in reducing cholesterol and balancing blood sugar levels—making it a gentle yet functional wellness beverage.
Brewing Guide
The nugget shape allows for fast flavor release, suitable for both quick infusions and simmered brews. Recommended method:
- Tea-to-Water Ratio: 5–7g of tea per 200ml (7 oz) of water
- Water Temperature: Use boiling water (100°C / 212°F)

- For boiling method: simmer 3–5 minutes after boiling, then serve
- Re-steeping: 8–10 infusions or multiple simmerings with consistent flavor
- Recommended Vessels: Gaiwan for clarity of layers; boiling pot for warming comfort in cold seasons
