Product Overview

This Osmanthus Black Tea is crafted from the 2025 spring harvest in the highland tea gardens of Quanzhou, Fujian, China. Premium black tea leaves are blended with freshly sun-dried golden osmanthus blossoms, using traditional scenting techniques to infuse the tea with a naturally floral charm. The dry leaves are tightly rolled and lustrous, with delicate yellow petals scattered throughout—visually striking and fragrant. The tea offers a balanced harmony of floral and malty notes, making it a warm and elegant choice for daily enjoyment or gifting.

Taste & Aroma

Upon brewing, the tea reveals a rich, layered fragrance—delicate osmanthus sweetness upfront, followed by the deep, mellow aroma of black tea. The floral and tea notes are well-integrated, neither overpowering the other. The liquor is a bright amber-orange, smooth on the palate, with a sweet and lasting aftertaste. The flavor is soft yet full-bodied, with a clean mouthfeel and lingering fragrance. This tea strikes a gentle and graceful tone, ideal for quiet afternoon moments or casual gatherings, and is especially favored by those who enjoy light floral teas.

Health Benefits

Osmanthus Black Tea combines the warming, invigorating benefits of black tea with the soothing and aromatic qualities of osmanthus flowers. Rich in polyphenols, flavonoids, and caffeine, it helps to stimulate energy, support digestion, and provide antioxidant effects. Osmanthus contributes additional wellness properties—helping to ease tension, warm the body, improve breath, and refresh the mind. Its gentle nature makes it suitable for regular consumption, especially during seasonal changes or for those with cooler constitutions.

Brewing Guide

To preserve its soft floral notes and rounded body, Osmanthus Black Tea is best brewed at medium temperatures. We recommend the following:

  • Tea-to-Water Ratio: 3g of tea per 150 ml (5 oz) of water
  • Water Temperature: 85–90°C (185–194°F)
  • Brewing Method:
    • Use a porcelain gaiwan or glass teacup to appreciate the blossoms and liquor color
    • Steep for 20–30 seconds on the first infusion, gradually increasing to 40–60 seconds for later steeps
    • Pour into a fairness cup to ensure balanced flavor in each pour
  • Re-steeping: Can be steeped 3–5 times, with the floral notes gently unfolding
  • Recommended Vessels: Gaiwan for full aroma expression, or glassware for a visually pleasing brew—perfect for daily sipping or sharing with guests
