Product Story
Located in Nanping City, Fujian Province, Zhengshantang brand specializes in Lapsang Souchong black tea, which is crafted using the traditional smoking process, a Chinese intangible cultural heritage. This unique process imparts a distinct longan soup fragrance due to the pine wood smoking. Lapsang Souchong is harvested within the 565 square kilometers of the Wuyishan National Nature Reserve, where high-altitude tea trees are picked once a year, choosing only buds with two or three leaves. This selective process ensures the accumulation of rich substances over the years, demonstrating superior quality.
The dry tea is thick and dark with tightly formed strips. The tea soup is orange-yellow and bright, with a subtle aroma of dried longan and pine smoke, offering a mellow and soft mouthfeel and a lingering throat resonance. The leaf base is thick and soft, expansive and full, bronze in color, soft and bright, fresh and rhythmic.
Packaged in a 50g exquisite tin can, it not only facilitates the preservation of the tea’s original flavor but also reflects our appreciation for high-quality tea. When brewing, it is recommended to use water temperatures of 95-100℃ with a tea-to-water ratio of 1:30, and purified water, to fully release the rich layers and unique aroma of the tea.
Choosing Zhengshantang’s Lapsang Souchong is not just about enjoying a tea; it is about experiencing a deep cultural tradition and craftsmanship. Each brewing session offers a taste of serene history, allowing you to enjoy a moment of tranquility and exquisite taste amidst a busy life.
